Terence C. Edwards

Senior Pastor

Terence C. Edwards serves as the Senior Pastor of the Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Liberty, Texas. He is a native of Liberty, Texas and received his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies with a minor in Pastoral Ministry from The College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas, in December 2015. Continuing his theological journey, he graduated from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University with a Master of Divinity Degree, further equipping him for impactful ministry and leadership.

Brittney Ford

Executive Assistant To The Senior Pastor

Brittney Ford, a native of Houston, Texas, recently joined our church and has quickly made a significant impact. Her administrative expertise has been instrumental in supporting the ministry’s work. Prior to joining our church, Brittney held an administrative position at MD Anderson Hospital in downtown Houston. Currently, she is employed in the same capacity at Kindred Hospital. Brittney holds a bachelor’s degree from Lamar University. We are fortunate to have her as part of our team.

Rev. Dustin Ford

Associate Minister

Dustin Ford, a graduate of Liberty High School, has been playing drums for over two decades before his calling led him into ministry. He currently serves as an associate minister at The Creek.

Jacoby R. Berry

Director of Youth and Young Adults

Pastor Jacoby R. Berry, M.Ed. is a pastor, speaker, educator, coach, and mentor with a passion for developing the next generation.

With a heart for discipleship and leadership development, Pastor Berry challenges people to discover their identity in Christ, walk confidently in their God-given purpose, and impact their communities through biblical truth and practical application. Whether preaching, teaching, or coaching, his mission is simple: to help people know God, grow in their faith, and become who God has called them to be.

Norman Barnett

Chairman of Deacons

A servant leader, musician, businessman, and community advocate, Deacon Norman Barnett has dedicated his life to ministry and service. Ordained as a Deacon in 1987 and bringing more than 50 years of music ministry experience, he currently serves as Chairman of the Deacons at Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church. His leadership extends beyond the church through decades of civic involvement, community development, and public service. Deacon Barnett’s wisdom, experience, and heart for God’s people continue to strengthen the ministry and mission of The Creek.

Hope Cross

Director of Finance

Hope Cross, a native of Raywood, Texas, has over 30 years of experience in the corporate sector. Currently, she serves as the County Clerk for Liberty County. Her financial knowledge and expertise make her an excellent financial administrator for The Creek. She holds a certificate in Business Accounting from Lee College.

Adrian Driver

Director of Worship Arts

Adrian Driver, a highly sought-after and talented musician, serves as our Music Director at The Creek. His dedication and expertise have been invaluable to our music ministry. He has collaborated with renowned musicians like Chester Baldwin and Kathy Taylor, among others. Additionally, he has showcased his musical prowess by recording a Christmas single, where he not only arranged but also composed the music.

Christal Johnson

Worship Leader

Chistal Johnson, a worship leader for The Creek, has been singing since she was five years old. Her extensive musical knowledge and experience make her a valuable asset to the group.

Larry Brooks

Director of Media and Communications

Larry Brooks is the Director of Media & Communications at The Creek, leading the church’s digital presence through branding, video production, livestreaming, web management, and creative communications. His passion lies at the intersection of ministry, creativity, and technology, using media to help people connect with the life and mission of the church.

Larry believes media is more than technology—it’s ministry, and he is committed to communicating every message with excellence, clarity, and purpose.
