Our First Lady

Early Life & Education
Lady Darcie A. Edwards is a native of Spring, Texas, and the daughter of Mr. Danny Glade and Ms. Shirlie Christner. She later moved to Broken Bow, Nebraska, where she graduated from Broken Bow High School. Upon returning to Texas, she earned her Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Lone Star College in Houston, Texas.
A Heart for Youth & Education
With a deep passion for guiding and inspiring youth, Lady Edwards continued her studies at Sam Houston State University in The Woodlands, where she graduated in 2018. Determined to make a difference, she began teaching at Cambridge Behavior Training Center, working directly with troubled and struggling youth to help them rediscover purpose and potential.

Her pursuit of impact led her to Angelo State University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Professional School Counseling. Today, she serves as a dedicated School Counselor at Ridge Creek Elementary School in Humble ISD — a role that allows her to combine compassion with leadership as she pours into the next generation.
Service and Ministry
At Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Lady Darcie faithfully serves with the Youth Ministry, the Praise Team, and the Young Adult Praise Dance Ministry. Affectionately known as “Lady Dar,” she continues to touch lives through her humility, encouragement, and quiet strength.
Grace, Family, & Faith
Beyond her professional and ministry roles, Lady Edwards finds her greatest joy in caring for her husband, Pastor Terence C. Edwards, their children, and their church family. She embodies class, grace, and elegance — a true reflection of her faith and character.

Her life is anchored in her favorite scripture, Proverbs 31:10 —

“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”
